Captain Rory MacLysaght became a friend and regular charter Captain for Afterguard from the time we met the gracious Irish gentleman. Cancer took him this year. He passed at home with his wife by his side. His wife May and daughter Maeve will be sharing the service of Rory's Life Celebration with Afterguard and TowBoatUs the afternoon of Nov 1st.

Afterguard offers a full range of our specialty and ASA courses year round in SF Bay. We give you the option to take your courses of 104 or/and 114 in amazing places. 2026 January can take either course in the British Virgins. Place of legends and pirates. If already certified can buddy boat with the Afterguard boat. Flotilla's are safer than visiting these waters as a single boat. It's simply fun as a flotilla.
